2. How do DRM solutions differ from one another?

While most DRMs (Widevine, FairPlay, and PlayReady) are standardized, DoveRunner offers a key differentiator that is License Cipher, an additional encryption/authentication layer that helps protect against compromised CDMs.

3. How is token management handled?

On the Ant Media side, KMS tokens can be configured directly via the management panel.
On the DoveRunner side, license tokens need to be passed via the front end or middleware to carry session/user-specific info. This ensures licenses are only issued under correct conditions.
